Accommodation
Cherry Tree House provides mainly single
room accommodation for long and short stay residents allowing
privacy, as well as the opportunity to cater for individual
tastes. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture,
pictures and ornaments to furnish their room as they wish.
Each room has its own washbasin and there are ample bathrooms
and showers close at hand. Bathrooms are fully equipped
with aids for disabled persons. |

The
building is centrally heated, well-maintained and decorated
to a high standard. There are communal sitting areas for socializing
and recreation but individuality and privacy are at all times
respected. We
encourage residents to live their chosen lifestyle.
Facilities are situated on two levels with a passenger lift,
ensuring that all resources are accessible to all residents
including those with limited mobility. We have a telephone room
with complete privacy. However, we are happy for telephones
to be installed into bedrooms, if residents wish to do so. Cherry
Tree House is essentially a non-smoking home with one designated
smoking area for residents. We hold a 'Silver Roy Castle Clean
Air Certificate'. The garden and patio areas are easily accessible
for outdoor recreational use. Gardening and greenhouse facilities
can be arranged. |
